Tenant Census 2025
We’re currently carrying out a survey with all our tenants to ensure the information we hold is accurate and up to date.
Having the right information helps us shape and deliver services that truly meet your needs. It also helps us better understand who our customers are, so we can provide the best possible experience for everyone.
We’re calling this piece of research the ‘Getting to Know You’ Tenant Census.
Just like the national census conducted in 2021, this project will help us verify the data we already have and gather some new information. This is especially important for supporting our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Who’s carrying out the survey?
We’re working with an independent research agency, ARP Research, who will contact tenants in a variety of ways — including post, text message, email, and telephone — to invite them to complete the survey.
Our Independent Living team will also be supporting tenants in our Independent Living schemes to complete the survey.
What kind of information will be collected?
Some of the questions may be personal. If you prefer not to answer a particular question, you can skip it or choose ’prefer not to say’.
All information will be collected in line with the Data Protection Act, GDPR, and the Market Research Society Code of Conduct. Tenants have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about them
- Update their information

What happens next?
May 2025: Tenants will receive an introductory letter and questionnaire.
June–July 2025: Follow-up invitations may be sent via letter or email from: noreply-strouddc@arpsurveys.co.uk
Or via text from ARP Research on this number 07860 017314.
July–August 2025: ARP’s call centre partner, Prevision, may contact tenants by phone. All calls will be made from this number 01908 278308.
To offer flexibility, calls may be made between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

As a thank you for taking part, all completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw. There are 10 vouchers worth £50 each to be won. Winners will be selected at random.
