The introduction of site visits will be in phases, the first being sites that can be visited without entering a building.

On 19th November 2015, the Council adopted a new Local Plan for the Stroud District. This Plan replaces the 2005 Local Plan entirely, and now provides a positive planning policy framework for the District for the period up to 2031.

The Local Plan was subject to independent examination, conducted by an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State. The Inspector’s report was published in November 2015 and the recommended main modifications have been included in the adopted plan.
