Tenant Satisfaction Measures

We're excited to say our 2025 TSM Telephone Survey is about to get underway!

What is the survey?

In line with the Social Housing Act 2024, Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) have been introduced as a way of measuring performance against the Consumer Standards set by the Regulator of Social Housing.

We have employed a specialist company called ARP Research to carry out the surveys for us. If you are called, the number you will see is 01908 278308, from Prevision Research call centre in Milton Keynes. This survey should only take around ten minutes of your time.

These telephone surveys will start Monday 10 November till Friday 5 December.

The aim is to survey a random sample of 540 residents to reach the number of responses required by the regulator.

When will I be contacted?

Calls will be made between 10 November and 5 December, at anytime between 10.00 am and 9.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Do I get anything?

This survey gives you a real chance to express your views on the way we work and the services you have experienced. The information you provide will help us identify where we need to make improvements, meaning you will have the opportunity to help shape the future for tenants.

Won't you know what I said?

The surveys are strictly confidential, and your responses will be given back to us anonymously, without your name or other identifying information.

What about data protection, GDPR and Quality Standards?

ARP Research and Prevision are company partner members of the Market Research Society and are registered with the Information Commissioners Office.  In line with the Data Protection Act they are not permitted to release any details that would allow an individual to be identified.

TSM Results and Reports

In line with the Social Housing Act 2024, Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) have been introduced as a way of measuring performance against the consumer standards set by the Regulator of Social Housing.  The aim of publishing  tenant satisfaction measures* (source - .gov.uk website), mean our  performance is more visible to tenants so they can hold us to account.

Stroud District Council conducts it’s annual TSM survey every autumn. The TSMS are aimed at capturing SDC residents views on on a range of subjects including:

  • Your home
  • Repairs & Maintenance
  • Communication
  • Neighbourhood
  • Complaints
  • Overall satisfaction

The results have to be submitted to the Housing Regulator by the end of June each year. The results of other councils to a similar size of Stroud are on display, this give you the opportunity to compare how well we (your landlord) is performing in relation to other landlords.
