Stroud District Council Planners will be resuming site visits from Monday 8th June. Please bear with us as we have a significant backlog of site visits to undertake.
The introduction of site visits will be in phases, the first being sites that can be visited without entering a building.
Please read the full update under Coronavirus.

The implementation of planning policies should be monitored on a continuous basis, to assess how they are working in terms of delivering the strategy and objectives that are set out in the relevant policy document. Continuous monitoring enables an assessment of the effectiveness of planning policies.

The Council publishes regular monitoring reports to identify progress with its planning policies. At the current time, the Council produces annual reports covering:

  • housing land availability
  • housing land supply
  • employment land availability
