Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a charge on new development to help fund supporting infrastructure across the Stroud district. CIL was introduced by the Government through the creation of the CIL Regulations and came into force in April 2010. Stroud District Council became the first authority in Gloucestershire to adopt CIL in February 2017.
