A resignation has been received for the District Ward Councillor for Stroud Central. If called a by-election will be held within 35 days, the casual vacancy notice has been published below. 

Two local government electors from the local authority area must submit a request in writing to call a by-election for this district ward.

Stroud Central County Division Casual Vacancy 

A resignation has been received for the County Division Councillor for Stroud Central. Where a vacancy occurs within six months before the day in which they would've retired, an election shall not be held under Section 89 (1) of the Local Government Act 1972 and will be filled at the next ordinary election of Councillors on Thursday 1 May 2025.
