Stroud District Council is once again inviting residents and businesses to share their views in its Annual Satisfaction Survey, which helps shape how local services are delivered.
Between Monday 1 September and Tuesday 14 October, a random selection of 500 residents and 200 businesses will be contacted by independent research company Phoenix MRC, which is conducting the survey on behalf of the council.
The survey is a vital part of the council’s commitment to listening and responding to the needs of the community. Conducted every year, it helps build a detailed picture of how views, behaviours and needs evolve over time - providing valuable insight that informs good decision-making and service improvements.
“These calls help us understand what we're doing right and what we need to do better for our residents and businesses,” said SDC Leader Cllr Chloe Turner. "So, if you receive a call, we'll be really grateful if you can take the time to talk.
“We know that people’s needs change over time and checking in with residents each year means we can make any necessary changes to our services as they are needed."
The Annual Satisfaction Survey supports the Council Plan aim to deliver efficient services.
To demonstrate how feedback makes a difference, the council publishes an annual ‘You Said, We Did’ report, which outlines improvements made following the previous year’s survey. The report from the 2024 data will be published in September.
The council encourages anyone who receives a call to take part. The survey is confidential, and responses will be used to inform future decisions and service improvements.
