Help us improve our consultation and engagement
Everyone who interacts with Stroud District Council can help shape important decisions, by filling in a short survey.
We want to inform and enhance our approach to consultation and community engagement, to ensure our residents, communities and businesses have a voice in decisions which affect them.
The Council is running a short survey on how it consults and engages with its communities and stakeholders to ensure that they are listened to and can influence decisions that are made.
This is an opportunity to provide feedback about how you would like to engage with the Council, what you would like to engage with the Council about, and the best way for us to communicate the results of consultation and engagement exercises.
"We know our communities well, but we can always do better, and we would be very grateful to people who can spare just 10 minutes to answer a few simple questions,” said Hannah Emery, SDC Head of Policy, Governance and Engagement. “This feedback is valuable because it helps us gather important insights into the priorities of the people and communities who use our services. If we have a better picture of that, we can consult and engage in more meaningful ways.”
All responses will be published anonymously, and all questions are optional – if you don’t want to answer a question, just skip to the next one. The survey runs until June 30.
To fill in the survey, you can visit the Consultations section of our website, and to find out more please email policy@stroud.gov.uk or call 01453 766321.
