COVID 19 - DEVELOPMENT SERVICES: SITE VISITS UPDATE

Stroud District Council Planners will be resuming site visits from Monday 8th June. Please bear with us as we have a significant backlog of site visits to undertake.
The introduction of site visits will be in phases, the first being sites that can be visited without entering a building.

The Development Plan for Stroud District consists of a series of documents which are used to determine planning applications. These are:

Stroud District Local Plan

On 19th November 2015, the Council adopted a new Local Plan for the Stroud District. This Plan replaces the 2005 Local Plan entirely, and now provides a positive planning policy framework for the District for the period up to 2031.

 

Waste and Minerals local plans  

Gloucestershire County Council is the local planning authority for waste and minerals planning matters within Stroud District.

Neighbourhood Plans

Several made Neighbourhood Plans now form part of the development plan for the area within Stroud District that they cover.
