Local Development Scheme

Stroud District Council Planners will be resuming site visits from Monday 8th June. Please bear with us as we have a significant backlog of site visits to undertake.
The introduction of site visits will be in phases, the first being sites that can be visited without entering a building.
Please read the full update under Coronavirus.

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is Stroud District Council’s programme for preparing planning policy documents for the District.

The latest LDS for the period 2017-2020 was approved by the Council’s Environment Committee on 14th September 2017.

The LDS sets out the current documents that make up the development plan for Stroud District and other relevant planning guidance.

It also sets out the documents that will be produced during 2017-20 to maintain an up-to-date development plan and other relevant planning guidance.
