High Street Car Park, Stonehouse

The effect of the proposed Order is to introduce a requirement to obtain and affix to a vehicle a zero value ticket for the long stay area of the car park and reduce the maximum time for long stay parking from 23 hours to 9 hours.  Hours of operation for the short stay area of the car park is also to be reduced from all hours to 8am to 6pm. 

The Order, which took effect on 6 February 2025, introduces a requirement for motorists to obtain and display a zero value ticket when using the long stay section of the car park. It also reduces the maximum permitted stay in the long stay area from 23 hours to 9 hours. In addition, the operating hours of the short stay area have been reduced from 24 hours to 8am–6pm.
