About Strength & Balance
Our classes are designed for those who have had a fall or are concerned about their balance. Classes consist of a mixture of chair based and standing exercises.
Anyone who feels the classes could benefit them are eligible to attend. You can either self-refer or be referred by a health professional to participate in the classes. Please complete the referral form here.
The Strength & Balance scheme promotes balance and confidence while helping to:
- Prevent falls and improve stamina
- Increase strength, mobility and flexibility
- Lower the risk of osteoporosis
- Improve blood pressure and cholesterol

What do I wear?
You will need to wear comfortable loose clothing and flat shoes/ trainers and bring a filled water bottle.
