Over the last few years, we have taken part in a number of national weeks of action. Whilst they are a good opportunity to highlight the work we are doing, our officers work every single day to make our district safe. 

Hate Crime Awareness Week 2025

Stroud District Council supported the national week of action campaign which ran from Saturday 11 October to Saturday 18 October 2025. The week was all about raising awareness of hate crime, encouraging reporting, and showing solidarity with those affected. This year we worked with our partners across the district to understand how they are helping to make our communities safer and more welcoming to all. Their thoughts have been captured by a digital campaign which ran across our social channels throughout the week.
