Wynstones School Summer Fair

Saturday, June 23, 2018

Families from Gloucestershire and beyond will be hot-footing it to Wynstones School on Saturday 23 June 2018 to enjoy a fun-filled day of live music, craft workshops and demos; children’s entertainment, vendor stalls, delicious food and more at the school’s well-known Summer Fair.

Open to all, the Summer Fair is free of charge to enter and will feature all the elements of fun-filled summer fete. Wynstones School is celebrating 80 years of Steiner education here in Gloucestershire this year.

While theatre fans can enjoy a promenade production of Alice in Wonderland and puppet shows, music lovers can soak up the sounds on the live music stage. Art aficionados may peruse the Class 8’s project exhibition and GCSE art exhibit while others can enjoy a variety of workshops and demos, and children play fair games including coconut shy and getting their faces painted.

Hungry visitors will be able to tuck into coffee and cakes, strawberries and cream, as well as many other food stalls offering a BBQ, vegetarian curry or sushi and many more delectable options. Following the main fair day, Wynstones Old Scholars will enjoy an evening banquet from Star Anise and entertainment, before the festival culminates in a blazing St John’s Bonfire.

With food and craft stalls galore, and a high chance of sunshine, Wynstones School Summer Fair looks set to be a real family summer scorcher this June.
