Thomas Saves Christmas - A Christmas story with music

Saturday, December 21, 2019

A unique and enchanting evening featuring a specially written story about Thomas the Tank Engine - by local authors Katie Fforde and Jane Gordon-Cumming. Narrated by BBC Radio Gloucestershire’s Dominic Cotter, with music from the Thames Head Singers, directed by Andrew Hopwood and accompanied by Julian Elloway.

There will be traditional carols for all to sing and seasonal refreshments during the interval.

Thomas has a special place in the hearts of Rodborough residents as his creator, Reverend Awdry, preached at the church for many years. All proceeds from the evening will go to Rodborough Church to fund major repairs and upkeep.

Tickets from Stroud Subscription Rooms (www.thesubrooms.co.uk 01453 796880),
The Prince Albert Inn, Rodborough and on the door (if available).
