Mozart’s Requiem In A Day - Charity Fundraising Concert

Would you believe Mozart’s wonderful ‘Requiem’ could be learnt and performed in a day!

Well that is the aim that local musicians Hugh Barton and Jonathan Trim have set themselves with a 100 strong voluntary choir and Stroud’s Capriol Orchestra. To be fair there will be some experienced singers too and the whole event is to raise money for two good causes, Stroud Women’s Refuge and Disasters Emergency Committee Appeal for Rohingya refugees. Each member of the voluntary choir has made a contribution of £15 and members of the public are invited to come and see the performance at Stroud Subscription Rooms on Sunday 11 March at 7.30pm, tickets available from the Sub Rooms ticket office.
