Lino Cut Printing Workshop

Saturday 18th March 10am - 4pm

Come and learn the satisfying art of lino cut printing with Lizzie Mabley from My Blue Shed. Spend the day drawing and cutting your lino and using it to print a personalised set of cards or wrapping paper and a tea towel or fabric bad. This relaxed workshop will gently guide you from drawing your design, transferring it to lino, cutting and printing. You will go home with your lino block with can be used again and again and also take away hints and tips to ensure you can reproduce beautiful handmade gifts at home.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those who have done some printing before. Lizzie will advise you and show you how to keep your design simple, making it easier to transfer and cut into lino. If you have ideas, please bring them along, often the simplest ideas are the best! We will be making blocks roughly 10x10cm.

Tools and inks will be provided for you to use on the day. The price of the workshop will include either a set of cards or sheets and wrapping paper to print.

You can purchase extra cards/wrapping/bags/tea towels on the day if you wish.
