In Our Hands film screening

Friday, March 2, 2018

A joint event between Transition Stroud and Stroud Community Seed Bank involving a screening of In Our Hands, discussion and a seed swap.

Friday 2nd March, doors open 6:30pm for a 7pm start.

In Our Hands documents a growing movement of farmers and food workers in the UK creating vibrant farms, living soils, thriving food markets and a fairer food system for all. Come and hear their story, join the discussion - and swap some seeds. This new and beautifully-shot film, created by the Landworkers Alliance, features farmers and growers both urban and rural. Exploring human scale agriculture, from seed production to dairy farming, and how to connect people to the land and their food in new and better ways, the film is both a message of hope and a call to action.

The film is a new production by the Landworkers Alliance - see more here: (including trailer)
