Public footpath diversions
Information about applying for amendments to the rights of way network.
Applications for amendments to the rights of way network by creating, diverting or stopping-up a right of way can be submitted to Stroud District Council.
Fees
The Council’s fee for processing a straightforward diversion order is £3000.00. You will be required to pay at least 50% upfront when you return your application form and the balance will be due once the matter has been considered by the Council. In the event that objections are received to the proposal it is likely that the cost will increase to resolve the objections or proceed to a public inquiry. If objections are received we will let you know before proceeding further.
