These are the key dates for voters in the European Parliamentary election

Residents are reminded to ensure they are eligible to vote in the forthcoming European Parliamentary election.
The Notice of Election was published on Friday, April 12, and it is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 23. The last date to apply to be included in the register of electors (if not already included) to enable you to vote at this election is Tuesday, May 7.
Registered EU citizens who want to vote in the European Parliamentary Election from the UK will need to complete and return a European Parliament Voter Registration Form by the same date.
Voters who will be away on the scheduled date of the election can apply to vote by post by 5pm on Wednesday, May 8 or apply to vote by proxy by 5pm on Wednesday, May 15. There are no scheduled local elections in the Stroud District this year.
Stroud is in the South West constituency which is represented by six MEPs who cover Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire and the British Overseas territory of Gibraltar.
