Published: Monday, 12 September, 2022
It was with great sadness that I learnt of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. As a mark of respect Stroud District Council will be flying the Union Flag at half-mast at our Ebley Mill Offices.
Her Majesty's connection with the Stroud district dates back to when she was a Princess, and people across the district have always held her in the highest respect and admiration. Her service to our nation and the Commonwealth has been historic and unmatched.
