Hempsted Household Recycling Centre – temporary closure
Published: Thursday, 28 January, 2016
The recycling centre will close temporarily from 29th January to 5th February while the access road is improved. The access road is being widened to improve the flow of traffic and reduce the amount of time that customers spend queuing to use the centre.
The temporary closure is necessary to protect the public from the engineering work while the improvements are being made.
During the temporary closure at Hempsted all other household recycling centres in Gloucestershire will be open as usual between 9am and 6.15pm every day of the week.
Residents can find the location of alternative household recycling centres at www.recycleforgloucestershire.com.
During March a further temporary closure will be needed to complete the work, and details will be made available nearer the time.
