Revised Tenancy Agreement (4/11/19)
Revisions to the terms and conditions of SDC tenants' tenancy agreements taking effect from 4th October 2019
Following consultation with SDC tenants; revisions to the terms and conditions within tenancy agreements will take place from 4th November 2019.
A summary of the changes is as follows:
4. THE PROPERTY
Health and Safety in the property and communal areas:
Section 4.1.4 (iii): Not smoking or drinking alcohol in internal communal areas (save for where Stroud District Council has given permission for a function held in communal areas of sheltered accommodation).
Section 4.1.4 (viii): Not using loft spaces (loft spaces must not be used in any circumstances, save for where you have the express permission of Stroud District Council).
4.4 Vehicles and Driveways
Section 4.4.5: If you wish to keep a mobility aid such as a scooter, motorised wheelchair, mobility scooter (or any other similar type of mobility aid), you must get our written permission first. This permission will not be unreasonably withheld and will be based on any relevant health and safety requirements being kept to.
5. BEHAVIOUR
Section 5.2.1: Not carrying out DIY or operating domestic machinery at anti-social times.
