The Café Conversation on Thursday 8th February 2024 10am - 12 noon is aimed at your health and wellbeing.
Join us for advice and discussion around money worries and the risk of overspending. We will end the session with a meditation session to help you shake off the winter blues.

We will have 3 breakout tables where you can:
Listen to Louise Wilson, Community Engagement Officer at Longfield Community Hospice, whose services are for anyone over the age of 18 with a progressive life limiting condition such as cancer, advanced lung disease, neurological diseases (including Parkinson’s, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and early to mid-stage dementia) and heart disease, who live in Gloucestershire or have a GP registered in Gloucestershire.
The Wellbeing Centre at the hospice will support people from diagnosis onwards, helping people understand their illness, to better cope with its impact on their lives and gain skills and tools to enable them to live well. They also support carers of people with a life limiting condition which meets the above criteria and people who are bereaved. Louise will talk about the services they offer including the various groups they run, counselling and their Hospice at Home service.
If you have a crafty side about you then join our arts & craft table where you can create cards and gifts to share with friends and family.
Share money saving tips by sharing your cheap meal ideas. Please come along and share your great food tips with other resident;, we will collect these tips and turn them into a small booklet to distribute at a later date.
The above tabled sessions will give you 25 mins to relax share and learn.
