Leaseholder Service Charges
Due to Covid-19 and a reduction in staff numbers due to illness there is a delay in issuing the service charge invoices for leaseholders which were due to be issued on 1st December 2020. We hope to be in a position to issue them by the end of March 2021. Please bear with us, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience. Please email the Right to Buy team: righttobuy@stroud.gov.uk if you need any further information. If you’ve bought a council flat or maisonette, either directly through the right to buy scheme or from a previous owner, you’re a council leaseholder.
Over 160 people have bought their flat under the right to buy scheme across the Stroud district. We want to support and encourage our leaseholders to play an active part in their communities and provide them with an equal communal repairs and cleaning service to our tenants.
As landlord and leaseholder we both have particular responsibilities which you can read about in this section of the website and in our service standard.
