Stroud tenant voice
Stroud tenant voice provides a range of opportunities for you to get your voice heard and work with us to improve our services to tenants. Tenants influence the services we deliver, the decisions we make, our policies and procedures. Tenants can also scrutinise and challenge the services we deliver.
Compliments, complaints and comments
We welcome your comments on our services to drive improvement. Complaints and compliments are both valued and we will respond within 10 working days to your feedback. Further information.
Tenant inspectors team
We support tenant inspectors to take an in-depth independent look at the services we provide as part of the tenant scrutiny co-regulation process.
Join your local resident association and work with your neighbours to improve your community. If you don't have a local group you can set one up, call us for advice.
Tenant representatives act as a voice for their neighbourhood. You can become a representative either by joining your local residents association, setting up an association or becoming a rural tenant voice / street rep.
Keynotes tenant panel
Our Keynotes tenant panel get involved in the planning and production of Keynotes. They suggest articles, proof read the pages and provide valuable feedback after every issue. Contact us to find out when the next meeting is.
Community development projects
We run a number of projects which help us meet the Council's vision of making Stroud district a better place to live. The projects support tenancy sustainment and our goals for jobs and growth, health and well being and financial inclusion. Our staff listen to communities to understand what they need and help them access the tools to make their area a pleasant, safe, inclusive place to live.
Groups such as Craft and Chat allow mature residents to come together and meet new people in a relaxed and friendly environment. Sessions are free and are currently being delivered in Stonehouse, Nailsworth and Uplands. For more information on craft and chat and other projects please call 01453 754559 or 754174.
Bearlands Play Area
In September 2016, children of all ages and adults provided views on how the Bearlands play space in Wotton under Edge could be developed, as part of a consultation to help shape the planned refurbishment of the site. Results of the consultation can be found in the full report here.
`Have your say' events
Please come along to a fun, informal and family friendly day near you to meet our staff and have your say to help us improve our services and make the right decisions for you. Dates will be advertised here, and in Keynotes.
From time to time we will ask you how satisfied you are with our services. Have your say from your own armchair and take a few minutes to give us your views. Tenant survey reports.
