A small personal radio transmitter is worn as a pendant around the neck or on a wrist-strap. This is linked to a special unit - the Careline - which plugs into a modern telephone point with an adjacent 13amp electrical socket.

Healthy Lifestyles Classes

The Healthy Lifestyles Scheme delivers physical activity across the district in partnership with health professionals and instructors specially qualified to work with certain conditions. Our aim is to support people to be more active in a safe way to benefit both their physical and mental health.

The activities are a great chance to socialise with other people living with similar conditions. Many groups enjoy tea and coffee time together after the sessions.

We deliver in venues next to bus routes as much as possible so driving is not necessary.

Look after Your Wellbeing

This an anxious time for us all. With all the uncertainty around Coronavirus (or COVID-19) it’s completely normal to feel worried about how it could affect your life. You won’t be alone in how you’re feeling. Everyone reacts in their own way to challenging events and uncertainty. There are lots of steps you can take to help look after your wellbeing, and the wellbeing of people around you. Make sure you get further support if you feel you need it. Just talking about what we’re worried about can be a massive help
