Parish and Town Councils - Neighbourhood CIL
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Distruption
In light of the current climate and disrupted working arrangements, can we please ask that communications are made via email in the first instance if at all possible. We will endeavour to respond at our earliest convenience and provide normal service as we can.
If the progress of your CIL Liable development has been directly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and you are having difficulty meeting your CIL payment arrangements, please contact us by email at the earliest opportunity to discuss any options that may be available to help.
The CIL Team
Parish and Town Councils are entitled to a percentage of the money collected from CIL in their area which is paid to them twice a year in April and October, this is referred to as the "Neighbourhood allocation". This money will be spent on local infrastructure.

Each Town and Parish Council must publish a report on CIL income and expenditure for the previous financial year by the 31st December annually. This mirrors the legislative requirements that SDC must also adhere to as the Charging Authority.
