Parish and Town Councils - Neighbourhood CIL
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Disruption
The CIL team will be working remotely until further notice. If you need to contact a member of the team, please email CIL@stroud.gov.uk. Please do not telephone at the current time. We will endeavour to respond at our earliest convenience and provide as normal service as we can.
If the progress of your development has been directly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and you are having difficulty meeting your CIL payment arrangements, please contact us by email at the earliest opportunity to discuss any options that may be available to you.
Parish and Town Councils are entitled to a percentage of the money collected from CIL in their area which is paid to them twice a year in April and October, this is referred to as the "Neighbourhood allocation". This money will be spent on local infrastructure.

Each Parish and Town Council must publish a report on CIL income and expenditure for the previous financial year by the 31st December annually. This mirrors the legislative requirements that SDC must also adhere to as the Charging Authority.
