RESIDENTS WHO DO NOT PAY THEIR COUNCIL TAX BY DIRECT DEBIT:
Thank you to those residents who have so far submitted an application via our on-line portal. We have so far been able to complete the process for a number of those applications and have paid £768,750 to nearly 5,000 of our residents.
If you have submitted an application but not received payment yet, please be patient and avoid calling us for details of when your payment bill be made as this will delay the process. The team are working hard to process payments as fast as possible. We are required by Government to check and verify every application which can take up to 2 weeks to complete the process so please bear with us.
If you have not yet submitted your application, then please do so without delay using the link below:

RESIDENTS WHO PAY THEIR COUNCIL TAX BY DIRECT DEBIT:
The vast majority of direct debit payers should have now received the £150 energy rebate.
It has not been possible to pay a small number of residents who pay by direct debit for reasons like, the bank account name does not match the name on the council tax bill. This is because we are required to verify all details before payment can be made. The team are working through these now and further payment runs are scheduled to pay these accounts over the coming weeks.
Council tax is a property tax levied on domestic properties, whether owned or rented, and helps to pay for local services in the Stroud District. The charge levied on your property will depend on the band of your property and the parish you live in.
