Where and how is Council tax money spent?

Basic facts from the 17/18 booklet 

This year, the average home will pay £32.06 each week, split as follows:


Stroud District Council - £3.67 (Paying for services including rubbish collections, benefits, planning, sport and leisure)


Parish/Town Council - £1.50 (green spaces, community grants, allotments, burials)

Police and crime commissioner - £4.12 (Crime reduction, safer communities, criminal justice)
