How can I stand as a candidate in the PCC elections?

You must be:

  • at least 18 years old on the day of your nomination
  • a British citizen, an eligible Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of any other member state of the European Union, and
  • registered as a local government elector with a local council within the Gloucestershire area both at the time of your nomination and on polling day

In order to stand you must complete a nomination paper which must be signed by 100 electors within Gloucestershire.
