Do I need to take ID to the polling station?

You currently do not need to show ID to vote however this will change from May 2023, click here for more information. You will need to give the polling staff your full name and address. They will then mark against your name in the register and provide you with your ballot paper(s).

From 4 May 2023 you will be required to take photo ID to the polling station and therefore residents of Painswick and Upton will need to take an acceptable form of ID to the polling station on 17 May 2023. For the full list of acceptable ID please click here.
