Stroud District Council is seeking views on a draft Private Sector Housing Renewal Policy 2018-2023 under the Regulatory Reform (Housing Assistance) (England and Wales) Order 2002. This will replace the current policy which will expire in September 2018.
Stroud District Council is seeking views on a draft Private Sector Housing Renewal Policy 2018-2023 under the Regulatory Reform (Housing Assistance) (England and Wales) Order 2002. This will replace the current policy which will expire in September 2018.
Through this policy, the Council will help to improve the health, safety and well being of residents in private sector housing within the Stroud district that are affected by poor housing standards or disadvantaged through social deprivation, disability, age, vulnerability or infirmity. The policy details the assistance the Council will make available under the order to homeowners and tenants in the private rented sector and social housing in order to improve their housing conditions. The policy has to be reviewed and republished at least every five years.
The Council is inviting comments on the draft Private Sector Housing Renewal Policy 2018-2023 from all interested parties including residents, businesses, other agencies and organisations.
