Leisure & Wellbeing Plans and Strategies
We are one of the few Councils in Gloucestershire to have a health and wellbeing plan. The plan covers all aspects of the District Council's work that have an impact on the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Strategy for Leisure and Wellbeing in Stroud District 2021-2040
Stroud District Council is playing a leading role in establishing a Strategy for Leisure and Wellbeing in Stroud District 2021-2040. This strategy will provide the key framework for delivering and facilitating leisure, health and wellbeing provision across the district for the next 20 years.

Stroud Play Area Project
We are currently undertaking a consultation on the 32 council-owned play parks across the district, so that funds can be invested where they are needed the most. This is due to receiving a £300,000 grant of Contain Outbreak Management Fund (COMF) money, which provides funding to local authorities in England to help reduce the spread of coronavirus and support local public health.
The consultation, along with other review methods will help us decide which areas are in the greatest need of investment.
Your views are extremely important to us and will help us to target the areas where it really matters.
To have your say, fill in the survey here. Survey ends on June 24th.
