Play Area Development
Stroud District Council was awarded funding of £300,000 from Gloucestershire County Council's Covid Outbreak Management Fund (COMF) for capital investment into 5 identified SDC owned play areas to help reduce health inequalities by providing accessible play spaces for all.
In addition, Stroud District Council is contributing extra investment to improve Stratford Park's play area in Stroud.
Below outlines the planned programme of works for the redevelopment of the play areas:-
