Paws on Patrol

Paws on Patrol is a crime prevention scheme where dog owners register to be the 'eyes and ears' for their community while out walking their pets. They are not vigilantes, they simply provide the police and council with information which could help to make neighbourhoods safer.

By being on the lookout for incidents such as drug-dealing, fly tipping or dangerous dogs, it's hoped that Paws on Patrol will help to build community spirit, contribute towards the protection of their neighbourhoods, reduce the opportunity for crime and anti social behaviour and reduce the fear of crime especially in the vulnerable.

How to register

If you would like to become a Paws on Patrol member please complete the registration form and and email it to community.safety@stroud.gov.uk or call 01453 754276.
