Stroud youth grant fund programme

As of April 2018, Stroud District Council are no longer operating a youth grant fund programme.

The money for this fund was previously devolved from Gloucestershire County Council and following their decision to change the way they operate such funding initiatives, a new scheme has been launched by them to run from 2018 to 2021.

The previous arrangement that began in 2011, enabled us to work in partnership with members of Stroud District Youth Council. It was a unique way (in Gloucestershire) of ensuring all applications were assessed thoroughly and fairly by a dedicated panel of young people. Youth grant panel members were trained to develop the necessary skills for this task, which subsequently complimented our overall approach to enabling young people to have a voice and be heard.

Details of Gloucestershire County Council’s Grant Scheme from 2018 to 2021, is as follows;
