No Mobile at the Wheel - Police Campaign

February 2021

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) says that driving is the most dangerous work activity that most people do.

Research has found that using a mobile phone while driving increases the risk of having an incident by four times.

In the UK over 100 people are killed or seriously injured every week in crashes involving someone who was driving or riding for work.

The National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) ‘No Mobile at the Wheel’ campaign takes place in February.  It is even more important than ever to keep our roads safe for all to protect the NHS.
