Covid Rules for Music September 2020

New rules for music and dancing in pubs, cafes, restaurants and bars (including bars in hotels or members clubs) – 28 September 2020

Pubs, cafes, restaurants or bars ( including bars in hotels or members club)

 

You must take all reasonable measures to stop:

  • Singing on the premises by customers in groups of more than 6
  • Dancing on the premises by customers (this does not apply in relation to dancing at a wedding ceremony or reception by the couple getting married or by the couple at a civil partnership ceremony or reception)

 

No music can be played on the premises which exceed 85db(a) when measured at the source of the music. This does not apply to any performance of live music.
