Young People

Youth Council Logo

Be sure to check out our Youth Council website. The youth Council gives a democratic voice to young people aged 11 to 18 in the Stroud District who have an opinion but no means by which to express it. The website is designed to give you essential information on the Youth Council and what we offer to young people in the district. In particular, it has its own budget for making grant awards to young people’s projects and talented young sports performers.

Welcome to the Young People section of our website. Here you will find useful links to further local advice and help on all kinds of issues that face young people. If you have come across any other websites not listed here that you think would be of use to other young people, let us know by e-mailing or telephone 01453 754285.
