Food and Safety Officer
 
£23,708 (plus a market supplement of £2,000)
 
 Plus an essential user car allowance and relocation package of up to £5,000 (where applicable)
 
If you are experienced in food safety enforcement work and hold the Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection you could be just the person we need to join our busy commercial services team. Ideally you will also hold an appropriate qualification in health and safety (however, we can arrange training for the right person). There are a wide range of other duties, including port health work, so the post might well suit a newly qualified EHO registered with the EHRB.
 
You will be working in a magnificent converted stone mill, in a pleasant rural setting close to the Cotswold escarpment but within minutes of the M5 and easy access to Gloucester and Bristol. This is a very attractive area in which to live and work.
 
We offer a relocation package of up to £5,000 (where applicable), payment of professional fees, flexible working hours and a staff restaurant.
