Legal Services Manager
£45,082 p.a. 37 hours per week
+ potential for a substantial supplement
 
Come and help build a team that commands respect.  We are looking for lawyers who will bring excellence to the Council’s Legal team.  As a lawyer at Stroud your role will be to support and influence every significant aspect of the Council’s work.  You will have the opportunity to play a leading and influential role in everything from the construction of an award winning canal, to building a vibrant economy, to £50 million of housing projects.
 
The team has recently been restructured and this is something of a new start.  For the Manager there will be a real opportunity to create a culture of your own, and organise the team to achieve excellence. 
 
You will be expected to deliver quality in your casework and advice, work quickly and productively under pressure, and show initiative and pragmatism in developing solutions for clients.  We welcome applicants from private practice and commercial in-house legal sections.
