Senior ICT Officer (Applications & Databases)
 
£28,636 p.a.
 
37 hours per week
 
Join our award winning team responsible for both 3rd party and internal application support and development. You will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of application and database development/administration using Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL server, supporting a wide variety of software solutions; primarily focussing on our IDOX Uniform and document management systems for planning and environmental health. You will have good organisational and communication skills and be able to run medium sized procurement and implementation projects.
 
You must have an ability to work with, and understand the ICT needs of staff at all levels to ensure ICT continues to provide the best possible service to the Council.
 
You will be working closely with our in-house development, data management and geographical information team, so previous experience with the .Net development environment or ESRI’s suite of products would also be an advantage
