Solicitor (initially 12 month fixed term contract)
£33,661 p.a.
37 hours per week
 
Legal Services are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and capable solicitor to join the in-house Legal Team.  The role involves undertaking a range of case work and giving advice to client officers on a day to day basis.  Procurement and contract work will be a significant part of the workload and we will be looking for relevant expertise and experience which could have been gained during your training contract.  The role will be hectic, demanding and is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills, grow your knowledge and further your career.
 
You will be expected to deliver quality in your casework and advice, work quickly and productively under pressure, and show initiative and pragmatism in developing solutions for clients.  We welcome applicants from private practice and commercial in-house legal sections.
 
Initially this role will be for twelve months, but it is hoped that this will be extended and we will be looking for opportunities to make the post permanent.
