Stroud District Council offices at Ebley Mill are located on the western side of Stroud along Westward Road. The availability of car parking on the site is limited, and you may on occasions find it difficult to find a parking space. Before you travel to the offices, please consider:

How to get here by..

Walking

There are pavements along Westward Road, and Ebley Mill is well within walking distance from Dudbridge, Cashes Green, Cainscross, Paganhill etc.

Did you know that walking one mile in 20 minutes uses as much energy as running a mile in 10 minutes, or doing aerobics for 16 minutes?

Cycling

Stroud Valleys cycle and pedestrian trail passes nearby the Council Offices, and you can use this if you are coming from Stroud town centre, Nailsworth or Stonehouse direction. Cycle stands are situated at Ebley Mill next to the Council Chamber entrance.

Bus

Bus number 20 passes Ebley Mill - this goes between Stroud town centre, Stonehouse, Dursley and Uley.

Train

Train services are available to Stroud Station. From the station, a short walk along Station Street and Rowcroft Retreat will take you to Merrywalks, where you can catch bus number 20 at bus bay 'J' which will pass Ebley Mill. These buses run every 20 minutes.

Driving

Ebley Mill is situated along Westward Road, on the western side of Stroud. If approaching from the M5, you need to get off at junction 13 and take A419 towards Stroud. Council Offices will be signposted from this road.
