Residents Parking

Resident, Visitor, Business and Carers Parking Permits, applications and administration is carried out by Cotswold District Council on behalf of Stroud District Council.

Residents, Visitor and Business parking permits are available in the following locations in the Stroud District:

  • Aldergate Terrace/Aldergate Street, Stonehouse
  • Bath Road, Stonehouse
  • Burdett Road, Stonehouse
  • Regent Street, Stonehouse
  • Storrington Road, Stonehouse
  • St Cyril's Road, Stonehouse
  • Laburnum Walk, Stonehouse
  • Verney Road, Stonehouse
  • Belle Vue Road, Stroud
  • Field Road, Lansdown, Stroud
  • Lower Dorrington Terrace,
  • Lansdown, Stroud

There is a charge depending on the street you live in and the cost can be found on the application form.

Proof of residency is required for the issue of all permits.

A parking permit will enable the holder to park the vehicle in a residents parking zone.

A resident, business or carers permit is valid for one year.

A visitor permit is valid for the day of use; books of 5 or 10 permits are available

A permit does not guarantee a parking space.

New On-Street Residents' Parking

It may be possible to set up a residents' parking scheme if there is enough demand in your area. Gloucestershire Highways are responsible for implementing new parking schemes. For further information please contact:
