The energetic Community Help in Partnership - People in Neighbourhoods (CHIP and PIN) initiative, has been in action around the district making major improvements to neighbourhood quality and helping strengthen communities.
Run by Stroud Safer Stronger Communities Partnership - made up of Stroud District Council, Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue, Gloucestershire Police and many other services - the two-day events involve practical help and guidance on antisocial behaviour, fire safety, crime prevention, healthy living, vehicle removal, recycling, refuse collection and neighbourhood and housing advice. A one-day event follows six months later to ensure continued support.
