On Tuesday 13th May 2008 from 10.00am-12.00pm, young people with disabilities from Stroud Schools will participate in Stroud Annual Sportsability Festival at StratfordPark Leisure Centre.

The festival provides the opportunity for the young people to compete at a grassroots level as a member of a team. Each young person has been placed in a team which they will compete in during the festival this will be identified by team t-shirts which have been donated by O2 who are proud to be supporting the event.

The children will participate in activities including Table Cricket, Polybat, Boccia, New Age Kurling and Parachute Games. The festival is organised in partnership with Gloscat students as part of their BTEC National Certificate in Sport (Development and Fitness) .
