Stroud District Local Plan

Stroud District Local Plan - indicates where different buildings, from homes to shops, offices, schools, leisure and health facilities may be built. It forms part of the development plan for the area of Stroud District Council and runs until 2011. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting this area. It was produced in line with the relevant statutory processes leading to Adoption on 10 November 2005.

The Council has published a notice of adoption on 21st December 2005. Any person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town And Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act has not been complied with, may within six weeks of 21.12.05 make an application to the High Court.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A LOCAL PLAN

STROUD DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN

On 10 November 2005 Stroud District Council adopted this plan with modifications. The adopted Stroud District Local Plan will form part of the development plan for the area of Stroud District Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.

The Stroud District Local Plan came into operation on its adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within six weeks from 21 December 2005, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
