Approved by the Cabinet on 6 October 2005, The Stonehouse Design Statement, has been produced by a steering group comprised of non-elected residents and Stonehouse town councillors, working in close partnership with officers of the Council. This guidance was the subject of publicity and consultation in Autumn 2004. The statement of consultation is also available for viewing.
An approved Village Design Statement is a 'material consideration' to the determination of a planning application and is therefore helpful in operating the planning process.
